The 5th Amendment:No person should be held to answer unlessed approved by jury.

The 14th Amendment:No state should take privilages from citizens nor deprive them.

Right to be free from discrimination and harassment:

Discrimination and harassment in a workspace are when employees are treated unfairly based on their sex, religion, race, and age. This can mean if an employee is criticized by any of their characteristics or it is considered discrimination. The right to be from discrimination and harassment makes these issues illegal.

Right to retaliation:

Retaliation is when an employer is punished with a legally protected activity. Legally protected activity can be salary reduction, demotion, job shift, forced overtime or being fired; these activities can be unfair for employers. For instance, if an employee were to have a job shift, it may be challenging to make manage their job than their personal lives or fit their schedule.

Right to fair wages and overtime pay:

Having the right to fair wages and overtime pay means for an employee to be paid on all hours that they work. This means that if an employer works overtime, he/she would need to be paid based on federal law. Often times people are taken advantage to work overtime. Overtime only applies to employees over the age of 18. So if you’re not 18 years old and is asked to work overtime, don’t hesitate to deny.
